Yes, the seeds are removed. 'Spicy' is such a subjective term. To us, they are not hot at all... Heck, I eat jalapenos with serrano peppers in them, LOL!!! Serrano peppers help kick up the heat some.

I also make a jalapeno/serrano sauce every year that is a great all-round condiment!!!

Yes, we stuff them with various cheeses (sometimes with meat too) & then wrap them in bacon. The cooking method is dependant on how I prepare our supper. We love stuffed japs & make them at least once a week.

The top picture were done on the smoker, the middle one were on the grill & the bottom on were done in the oven. They are all good!!!

Made these a couple times last summer with your recipe. They were excellent! :thumbsup

Oh my goodness! Can't wait for my jalapenos to start producing. Sometimes I will buy them from the Mexican store because they are cheap. I like to mix diced jalapenos, minced onion, (sometimes a little dill weed) and lime juice together for burgers or sandwiches.

I'd like to make your peppers Wr ranch but I don't have one of those pans with holes. I also want to make them in the oven. How do you suggest I make them? Should I stand them up tight in a pan so they don't fall over? But then I'm afraid the bacon won't cook evenly. What temp?

Mary you can put them on a foil lined cookie sheet at 350* in the oven until the bacon is done. Space them a little apart.

I LOVE jalapeno poppers. I eat the leftover ones for breakfast!

Thanks @baymule . I want to make them for a graduation bbq this Saturday. But I'm scared they may not come out good. My husband has to work and I don't grill so I'm going to use the oven. 20 strips of bacon is a lot. I want to try to use less. Any suggestions?

What are leftover jalapeño poppers? Didn't know they existed.

Can you eat 24 or 30ish poppers at one sitting? I can't , so I finish 'em up for breakfast!
