So many great ideas! I do love them just steamed, but I put them in stir fries, too. The other night, I sauteed them with some zucchini in olive oil, then sprinkled with balsamic, basil, oregano, and feta. It was an Italian take on the garlic/ginger/soy sautee that I do sometimes.

I had two green beans ready (Asian long beans) so I picked them, pulled a sweet onion, picked a yellow bell pepper, cut and chopped, sautéd in butter. It was yummy!

Here's something that we've been eating lately. Someone at work sent me the recipe when I brought in a bunch of yellow crooked neck squash. Instead of chopping the squash up consider shredding them like hash browns. And make sure you fry them crispy and serve with ranch or honey mustard dressing.

Jim, very similar recipe to mine except for seasoning. Try a remoulde sauce.

The imitation apple cobbler was good. Not apple but if you didn't know, would think, apple.
