We’ve had some impressive wind. The greenhouse has taken flight and a dead tree is down (no damage). Unfortunately something has sparked a wildfire in one of the nearby towns they’ve started evacuating the closest houses. We think it’s headed away from us but it’s spreading quick because of the 40mph+ winds.

the wind is going today, but not too bad, still it should be for another five hours or so. the rain is supposed to ease up soon. we don't need any more rain that is for sure.

the power has been flickering on and off this morning so i'm not sure i'll be on-line too much. microwave breakfast oatmeal might be a challenge today. ah, well, adventures in cooking and i don't have a small pan that works well on the stove top for that. which reminds me i need to keep looking for one when we go shopping - i really miss my glass pan.

We’re alright here! No serious damage. I’ve found the greenhouse and hauled it back to the house, we didn’t have anymore trees fall after the first and they have managed to contain the wildfire in the nearby town now that the storms are over. We never lost power but it flickered all night. Some family in the southern 1/2 of the state had a really close call with a tornado warning though. No actual damage to their house or property that they’ve found.
