'Information' will not be permitted into the country's online media without gov approval, though google et. al. doesn't want to submit yet. Very hard to impose such control in a Western democracy and not have big smoke and mirrors; we already had major civil unrest here in Jan 2022, UN troops were flown in with jackboots. People are flying personal drones into the no go zones (though it's forbidden) and finding helis pouring lit diesel over the tops of trees. Footage was released online. Provinces are demanding an investigation, knowing full well arson is the cause.
We survived the Derecho of August 2020. It took out a century old hackberry tree, we were very lucky it did not fall on any structures. Hope you and all did not suffer any major losses. Photo of our tree as we began taking

Weather Service FINALLY called Thursday's storm a derechio, which I knew it was.
I planned badly on Thursday, just grain fed the horses, parked my riding mower and tow wagon in the carraige house, was walking back to the garage to close the south garage door, when the wind pushed my in the garage door and I watched straight line winds and pea sized hail from the garage door. It got very wet and then I watched the storm THROUGH the garage door windows.
I had already filled the shelter manger with hay, so I knew that the horses would be there and ok, which they were.

~ those thermometers may be more trustworthy. So, there we have it for our neck of the woods. Blue sky sunny days, clear starry nights -- we had about a 40° drop ( 22°C drop) in temperature from a daytime high to a low. No wonder that ground water felt warm!
At home, I can work outside for awhile, then cool down in the basement for awhile. In the rural garden (which is usually a few degrees hotter) I set up a folding "recovery chair" in the shade.
Right now, a deluge is what the farmers need to save their crops.
