hard freeze last night. sunny and cool today but now warming the rest of the week. we could use a good rain, what we've had recently has been more of sprinkles. maybe this weekend will be raining.

The weather this month is the coldest on record since the early 80s! Actually even one degree colder than that record! We have been experiencing lots more cloud cover too.

You'll never guess, so I will tell you that it's raining here again.
According to the weather forecast the temperature is 9c. But it's feeling a lot colder here to me

looks like nearly perfect spring weather. a mix of sunny and rainy days all about 70 - 75F. so maybe i can get the peas and first beans planted at last (a few weeks late)...

A very sunny and warm labor's day~and according to the forecast, tomorrow we will have heavy rain, so we try to use as much water from the rain barrels as possible.

i may not get to it for another week or so depending upon how things continue to go for us here. spring cleaning and getting ready for a relative visiting so i didn't get much done outside today at all other than going out and redoing a window i did yesterday because it had too many streaks in it. it still may not be that great but it is better than it was. also had some buckets of ashes brought over today so those now need to be moved again but that can happen tomorrow or whenever.

Windstorm.

We don't have rain but the wind ... . Yesterday afternoon, when wind gusts hit 50 mph at a nearby airport, the air quality dropped to Very Unhealthy with blowing dust.

I was trying to run the sprinklers in one part of the garden. A new idea was to grow the melons with the benefit of a trellis. Some of the tomatoes went in. Over the path were more transplants that needed water. Well, I got things wet but likely did a poor job.

I need to finish this morning but the wind still blows. Cooler now, that will help — it hit 79⁰f (26⁰C), yesterday.
