today is the coldest day in the forecast for the next week. 28F which is a heatwave in comparison to where we have been this past week. the rest of the week forecast is now each day above freezing and even some sunshine. it makes a lot of difference having a bit of sun here or there.
January thaw. In the 40's for the next few days, 51 for a high on Thursday, then we get rain and stay above freezing until Monday.
Looks like average temperatures for us after that, above freezing during the day, below freezing at night.
Ponies got turned out Saturday. Guy who did some yard work for me wants a few bucks, and I think I'll hire him to clean stalls on Wednesday. He doesn't have a car, so I have to plan this one out.
I do know where I want to dump the used stall bedding.
According to the forecast it's 6c but feeling like 1 with 82 humidity. The wind is getting stronger currently 37km . We've had rain off and on.
So pleased I got my dog out for a good walk and a little running around. At least she is contented
we had a wind warning for today and it was also trash and recycle day so i wondered how much trash i may be chasing. it worked out ok, there was a breeze this morning when i took things out but they picked up the recycle bins fairly early and so that was the most likely problem trash and then they came a bit later and picked up the regular trash.
the warning goes until 11pm tonight and gusts up to 75 km/h (48mph). temperatures are a balmy 1C (34F).
since it makes little sense to heat the house up to have the heat blow away i turned the heat down most of the day but have put it back up now.
We are going to have to build ark's at the rate of our rain fall. It's been non stop since yesterday afternoon. My poor dog actually wet her bed this morning.
