The orb in the sky at this moment and location is the full Moon .

There is supposed to be a 40% chance of rain today and mostly cloudy but the clouds are small right now and there is plenty of clear sky. Wind and freezing tonight . That will likely be difficult for new plant growth. Overnight freezing will probably continue through next week with sunny days, we are told. A 30⁰f (16⁰C) difference in morning and afternoon temperatures — or, more.

ETA: the downpours of rain nearer the coast amounted to cloudy skies with a sprinkle of rain Thursday night that the WS recorded as a "trace."

another frosty morning here too. sun is out again which will be nice but it won't be warm enough and i'm not sure what we're doing today.

yesterday was beautiful and sunny with some breeze. warm enough that i was outside with minimal cover and still not cold.

last night we had some rain and today is colder and windy still, but not as windy. they say chance of snow (and then rain) in the forecast in the next 20 minutes, but i doubt that snow is going to happen. near freezing tonight and below freezing tomorrow night.

It's breezy here this morning with a high close to 60 and partly sunny. Can't complain too much about that one?
