Lovely days!

Below freezing at 30°f (-1°C) this morning but we may be moving on to 70°f (21°C) afternoons during the final days this week.

The 6 to 10 day forecast is saying 40-50% chance of above normal temperatures. Since we are approaching our final frost date, maybe it was this morning in 2025. Wow 😯!

Only a slight chance of rain on Sunday. Please, please ... don't slide deeper into a Summer drought.

Officially, it was 70°f (21°C) yesterday.

The last time it was that warm was the 26th of March, when we had 2 days with that warmth.

We aren't finished, the Weather Service says. There will be 3 more days above 70 this week, including today. This isn't anywhere near any records and there has been quite a lot of Spring sunshine this year, all with a little above normal temperatures. The tomato and other starts are really benefitting

mid-50sF today with low tonight around 34F. that is the coldest night in the forecast for this week. 38F is another night, but i think i can plant some peas any time now.
I think peas, tomatoes, and cucumbers are my favorite garden veggies to grow. The first two are so great to snack on while you are out in the garden and I grow cucumbers just so I have an excuse to eat blue cheese dressing! 😋
