I love this amaryllis! I got it a couple days ago and it makes the kitchen so cheery!

Amaryllis are often thought of as December holiday flowers, but I find them especially uplifting to have around in January and February when there are fewer distractions. This 'Pink Rival' blooms heavily and is nice and short, so it doesn't topple over from the weight of the stalk. I have frozen pollen from it, and hope to cross it using pollen saved from other interesting specimens.

Shop them to me? I reimburse you for the postage.

next year when i break this big pot apart. no time to do that this year i'm trying to get my beans and seeds ready for the seed swap. will take 1-3 of these with me this year to give away. i'm holding off on watering them as long as i can so they won't be growing too much two weeks from now. i hope.
