my favorite and oldest(35+yrs) tool is my metal handle square narrow bill(@6") shovel. i use it constantly as a digger and root cutter. i no longer use a tiller since i have a permanent raised bed garden. i do however have a older pro model ryobi trimmer/brushcutter that i have a mini tiller...
i have painted some of my handles and it has helped. as for the small garden tools, since i have several, i have two staging areas where i put them(one is a trellis in the middle of the garden) and this has really helped. old mailboxes are handy too. every little bit helps. jon :thumbsup
i always wondered what the sticky gum balls could be used for when one day it was suggested to use them for a filler. since it seems that i have a million on the ground i have started using them. so far, so good. jon:)
if you like bargains in books try alibris or thriftbooks. they have some real bargains and thriftbooks has free shipping. i have gotten some real deals in hard cover books, some are virtually new and others can be library copies. seldom do i pay over $4-$5 at thriftbooks. jon :)
