Summer Bean Show 2024 Vol. #13
The lima on the left looks like Christmas in pink. Maybe this bean isn't totally dry yet either. It looks to me like the same persons hand holding these beans as the last post I did.
Bean #23..............................................Bean #24
I don't know if they are fully dried or not. That might be there natural size and color when fully dried. How can you tell from a photo if beans are fully dried or not?
It's going to be warmer here starting today. This warmer weather is supposed to contiue right on into next week. Hopefully this warmer air will blow up north your way. It's been cool here lately too. July which is on the average the warmest month of the year has been cooler here than June...

I had never grown Purple Dove myself but from what I understand Purple Dove is a true bush type. I will tell you what I would be doing in my bean garden if I was growing PD and I saw some plants growing runners. I would be following those runner plants down to the soil line and be cutting them...

I don't know if you have ever seen my fencing to keep deer out of my beans. This is made of 12 foot 4 x 4 posts concreted in the ground 3 feet deep. The wire is handy panels bought at Tracktor Supply Store. 4 x 8 stacked on top of each other width wise to bring the wire up to 8 feet high. This...
Summer Bean Show #5 2024
Brazilian bean #8 reminds me of Diamont. I love that flat charcoal gray of Brazilian bean #9.
Brazilian Bean #8.............................................Brazilian Bean #9

You can read this if...
