Here are my special buys.. I come home with a car load when I start wheeling and dealing...
Sometimes we come home with my feet up on the seat of the passenger seat with me... LOL We come home in this condition many many times over each summer. We also look like a garden center sometimes.
@thistlebloom This is my cute pony, he will grow up to be a Clydsdale, maybe one day.... That is about all the town will let me have out here....They think I have enough chickens....LOL
No we believe in, water water water, when planting things. That is really the key to not loosing things. We have allot of normal Maples around also but a few very rare and expensive ones....
@thistlebloom, That pony is so very cute. I want one but just can't have one on my property..
Oh Mary, I love that. My daughter would have loved that many years back...
Yes Mary, some of the top maples pictured are trimmed, although not much. The last one, it's a super dwarf, is all natural....It really is 15 years old and will never get much taller...We have a few of them and never...
:\ So my Yama Hime Maple was $300. and it is 15 years old and only 1 foot...:) It's a crumby picture but you get the gist. I like to be cheap with some things but some plants I love to spend the cash on.
I don't think so. You probably have to air layer it or start seeds or at least by grafting. Ours have not made seeds yet. The first picture has but not the Koto No Ito..
So this one, photos in summer and fall, is about 25 years old and it was $90. back then. It was a stick.
Next is a Koto No Ito Maple. It was $250. when I bought it.
This one is highly prized and never cheap. I have a couple of them now planted in the gardens.
Glad everyone enjoyed the day today. Our neighbor came down with a pie. My hubby and our neighbor sat around the dining room table and had a very nice visit about our pasts. After a few hours she left. That is about it...
Bittersweet....
I have, always heard of it and I have seen it many times on YouTube but I never thought I would gave one of my girls give my one....
LOOK....
I was so amazed to see this normal sized egg, as hubby cracked the very large one into the egg ring.
We don't look forward to these next 2 holidays....I am the last one in my family line. My parents, daughter and last to go is my sister. Hubby is not close to his family at all.
We always did the holidays. Last year I made a very very special meal of my canned turkey, my gravy made with my...
So my maps is in another language...If I speak to Maps navigator on my phone, it talks back to me in another language...I don't know if it understands English because I can't tell what it is saying back to me....LOL
