I like to chop up my Brussels sprouts into very thin slices (raw) and add them to a spicy honey based sauce with fancy sliced nuts, cranberries, etc! Yummy!
We have a lot of buttercup here - especially in lawns. I never use pesticides so I pull them by hand. You have to dig all the way down and get the root or they come right back! It's a big pain in the butt!

To keep deer out of one of the gardens we had we used Emerald Green Arborvitae trees planted really close together as a fence on one side and in the areas with no trees there was a wooden fence. This did a good job keeping the deer out of the garden, but they ate all of the flowers and chewed...

Sliced cabbage, carrot, onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, oregano, salt. Top up with filtered water and wait 2 weeks for all of it to ferment. So good tasting and good for you!
