    I tried a baking soda, water, dawn soap concoction... I think it stunted my pepper plants growth... they never looked quite right after I use it 2-3 times...

    O gosh! with Christmas an all I forgot... are they up and running yet? we have one in concord and one in tilton that we frequent. Baked goods soups and meat from local farms too! yum!

    Fake or real?

    We have a fake one. Got it last year because we were leaving on vacation o the 2nd and we didn't want to have to worry about taking it right down after Christmas. I have always snooted my nose up to people who had fake trees, and now I am one of them!! oh well... hubby and I are not the best...

    That's awesome - lucky boy! I heard if you want to change an older dogs name to say tem both for awhile... then drop the old name.... not sue it would work with ne that is a bit hard of hearing, but worth a try! Good luck!

    Let me know if she gets in a bind. Turkeys are being processed next weekend, then I will have room, but I really don't want the roo either. I am in Pembroke just south of concord. Are her birds tested?

    I am in NH - about 8 degrees here. We are supposed to get a storm tonight. 6 - 12 inches of snow! yippee! we snowmobile so this is a good thing. And although its cold out, is good for the trail system to have frozen ground prior to snowing... going to grocery store soon to have drinks and...

    What's your new recipe for this year?

    I tried something new last weekend. We made a rib eye roast; Made a rub with salt and pepper, thyme and garlic. placed in oven at 500 for 25 min and then turned the oven off....!! I never heard of this before, but a gal at work had told me about it. I kept it in the oven for about 2 hours...

    Growing Holly

    I have 2 holly bushes that do okay. I don't think they are in the best spot, but they thrive, and I am able to clip a few branches with berries and bring inside for decorating wreaths and such at Christmas. I am in NH - Zone 5, Good luck!
