My grandmother is from Germany and she said that over there all they eat is a white asparagus. I would love to grow some for her put I can't find them anywhere. Does anyone know the name or a place to get them from?

When you are reading the back of the seed packet and it says 22 day to mature is that from the time you plant the seeds or the time the seedlings appear?

Here is my garden so far...
In the bed below I have planted cucumbers, carrots, radishes and brussell sprouts.
The middle bed which is below also has a row of lettuce and then a row of radishes and is alternating for the length of the bed.
The last of my three beds is just potatoes...
