It’s supposed to rain again today. Hopefully it won’t be a great deluge. Then about 6 days of sunshine. Maybe I can go outside and tear something up.

Fog is lifting. Supposed to rain some more today. Too wet to do anything outside, I am bored. I might go to Nacogdoches today just to get out of here. There’s a health store there I’ve been wanting to go to. I need some vitamins. I’m a big believer in vitamins and minerals.

I got a storm December 23 at 8:00 PM through Christmas Eve morning. Power was off all night. Got 3 1/2” of rain. It’s storming again. Looks like it will be over soon for me. Storm is moving east, tornado warnings, it’s moving over Houston, going over to beat up Louisiana.

Nancy has just survived for this day. She’s in Dog Heaven on Earth now.

My small tarp “porch” worked just fine. Got 3 1/2” of rain night of December 23 into Christmas Eve day. Power went off, the wind blew and it rained hard. The hoop shelter stayed dry inside! The ewes appreciated the thick bed of weeds.

Coffee is ready. One more holiday to go, then the austerity program to take off the pounds gained!!
