Why is it that people say they 'slept like a baby' when babies wake up like every two hours?

It has rained so much! By yesterday afternoon my road in front of the farm was flooded. I saw a neighbor that lives past me drive through it, kicking up rooster tails of water. Hope it’s drained off this morning.
On my second cup of coffee. Still dark outside. I’ll feed Spot the bottle lamb and the rest of the sheep before church.

It has rained a lot here thru a few days of PNW wind storms that the southwest pasture has a pond forming.

It has rained a lot here thru a few days of PNW wind storms that the southwest pasture has a pond forming.

It has been raining most every day here for over a week with a wind storm thrown in here or there!

There have been back to back storms coming in from the Pacific Ocean . The costal communities have been flooded in some areas and roads washed out. So far we have been lucky and not had the road washed out down stream. Stay safe and warm my friend.

Southern Oregon has been hit hard. Jackson and Josephine counties were posting flooding and some snow. Nuthing but rain and wind up here, near Portland.

Same here windy and rainy. We have had 60mph wind gusts. The ground is so saturated the wind knocked over a
tree I need to finish cleaning up when the rains stops. Even the pasture is so saturated from the rain a small pond is forming .
