It is raining again! :th We had a couple of guys come today to clear a place behind the house for a barn. They cut 2 large dead trees and cleaned up mess from 2 big dead trees that already fell down. Plus they cut through greenbriar thickets, cut brush and general mess. We started the burn pile at 8AM and even with the rain, it is still burning. I don't know how much rain, it's dark, I'm tired and the rain gauge is a looooong walk down the driveway.

:hugs:fl Hope the rain stops soon for you all. My brother in law lives in Corpus Christi and the radar shows that they are getting a lot of rain too.

Rain fall report; 3/4" yesterday afternoon and last night bringing the total rain fall for the weekend to 3".

I put the horses in a small front pasture while we worked in their preferred pasture, and they didn't like it one bit. I use the word pasture loosely as there isn't any grass and lots of woods, but I gotta call it something. It was almost dark when I opened the gate to take them back to their home. I didn't have to lead or shoo them back home, they took out running and didn't stop until they got there.

Murphysranch, I hear it was going to snow at 5,000 elevation. That would mean snow at our cabin. We just left it Saturday. Too bad we missed it. :(
