i think that looks like a flower stalk coming up. is that a really tiny plant or a full sized bulb? if the plant is tiny that shouldn't be a flower stalk, but perhaps i'm just not seeing it very well. :)

either way, eventually you will have some very beautiful flowers.
Yes, my bad, they are both full sized bulbs. This is my first two Amaryllis, so exciting.

DD is thoroughly enjoying her new Amaryllis.
I decided that the 2023 Christmas Red Amaryllis, which has no blooms this year AND the 3 Apple Blossom pups will spend the summer just outside of the front porch, just north of the cement steps, so that I can keep an eye on them and not let them dry out.
Her mother Apple Blossom Amaryllis will join them.
I will probably find some way to set them in a tray or trays to keep them watered, too.
