Thank you all

Day has been pretty quiet actually. I had an appointment with my psychiatrist around 1:00 (to renew my meds) then we took a trip over to Armonk. The yield at DiCicco was pretty meager for me; two slices of Fleur Verte ( a kind of goat cheese) and a bottle of mead (to be put to the side for when I can drink stuff like that again) Though of getting some Old Engine Oil (beer) in case we wanted to fry fish, but we have other beer we can use (plus I want to put some more effort into looking for Engine Oil analogs, in case the brewery ever decides to drop it. Have found one so far (Thirsty Dog's Wulver is a pretty close match)

Lunch was Japanese. Not particularly impressed (everything was two sweet, too spicy and too small for the money it cost) But I finally got a menu (and an off the counter Stromboli) from the Pizza joint next door, so I can use them the next time I'm doing the area. (not the Stromboli itself though, it tastes like a Pizza Hut Meat Lovers wrapped up around itself. Give me the one from Mario's in Mt. Kisco any day.

I suppose the real fun comes tomorrow when assuming the computer is right, the Fedex truck comes around bearing the boxes containing all of the Japanese books I've bought over the last two or three months. In there amongst other things are the books I need to render two of my series COMPLETE (well complete by title, I'll still need to keep my eyes peeled for upgrade copies).

Tea is hard to say. I'm WATCHING a tea on that tea site I use (the 2007 Eight Immortals) But I'm waiting for it to be the tea of the day before making my move (now that I know ALL of the teas become teas of the day at some point) Actually, I'll probably wait until they're down to one unit and it's the tea of the day, so I don't end up spending full price on the rest of them if I like it.

Pulsgleaner, can you tell me more about where you order your teas from? I've always ordered from Amazon but I'd be interested if there's a better place and price where I can get good Jasmine tea or Jasmine Pearls.

Thanks
Mary

Here in my little world in the middle of the USA, I drink my store-bought green tea without a thought to the big bucks being spent on the 'tea that saved emperors'. And I enjoy.

Just as I open a bottle of cheap Boone's Farm wine and ignore the bidding war on wines costing hundreds, thousands, tens or thousands more. And I enjoy.

Life could be a lot more simple, Pulsegleaner -- perhaps less fun, but much simpler.

For Jasmine Pearls These people might help

http://www.svtea.com/ (I also REALLY like their Vietnamese Imperial Oolong)

OMG do they still make boone's farm wine ? We would drink it in High school, we would each put in 50 cents. I have to look for it, I would love to put it in different bottle and serve to friends and see if anyone knows what it really is. Hey not not it will poison them.
