just pulled the 1st 2 tomatoes from the garden. i just couldn't wait on them any longer. they're still mostly green but i let the chickens loose in the yard & thought i may be beaten to them by the birdbrains.

Smart move. Since you let the chickens loose, does this mean there aren't anymore? :(

the rest are fully green & since i haven't staked them they may be safe from the chickens, it's a jungle in there. i only notice the chickens going for ripe tomatoes.
