No. I'm not going there, @Nyboy . Jeans are informal enuf and I often think that they are too informal even for anything where I feel like I'm representing anyone other than olde Steve. I've done just a little debating on what stitch design should be on the pockets and realized with relief that nobody looks at my derrière, anyway .

:) Oats, @penny's , Avena sativa It took me some time to figure out that the Aveeno brand must have gotten its start with oat products ...

I love to take baths, I take them to relax not clean. I have a whole shelf of different bath oils. I fill tub, light candles, open a bottle of wine.
I wonder what oat oil would be like ... wow! Supposed to be high in ceramides and Wikipedia has information on those including the human body manufacturing of the stuff ... also, linoleic acid ... hmmm not my area of expertise ... Aveeno bath treatment is an oat product.

What a contrast, East to West!

Weather Bug

Just looking at the numbers on the maps, I'd guess that the West if about 10°f below normal while the Central part of the US is about 20° above!

Steve
BTW: it isn't gonna be any 64°f for a high here today. The WS says the afternoon will be 56° with wind gusts above 20mph and rain.

Covered the Indoor Mile for the first time today ..

... prancing and cheering myself on ... :D.

It's been raining right through the morning. Yesterday, I prepped some veggies but didn't do much else but sit in the lazyboy.

As usual, the first 15 minutes of the floor performance was a drag. The last 5 minutes was the most difficult but was over quickly. Difficult isn't really the right word. Perspiring better describes my condition than working up a sweat.

I guess it means I had 10 minutes of exercise euphoria ... or, something, there in the middle of things. Additionally, it did seem to free up my shoulders and make them feel better. I need to get more "English" into the leg movement ;).

I joined the YMCA so my walking and biking are mostly done inside now. After losing all that weight so quickly I figured I needed to rebuild some muscle.

I am still trying to find a new place for myself in the world and thought perhaps the Y would give me some social interaction as well as exercise.

Now that Maverick has moved in and is there at night, I'm feeling better about being in the house during the day as well. It sure is tough learning to get into the world alone.

@Smart Red , what about those breakfast/lunch/and dinner hangouts?

I'm always seeing the same cars at one that we sometimes stop at. It's easy to recognize some since they drive vintage pickups.

It wouldn't surprise me if your school's retirees have hangouts, too.

Of course, there in south-est, central-est Wisconsin, the leaves are changing. You can hardly expect yourself to know them anymore! You might want to search out evergreen experiences ... wherever those may be. It probably won't take too much more than a nickel to find one of those on any afternoon.
