Yesterday I finished it.
I did it!
Free pallets from a feed store.
Lumber from shed hurricane Beryl blew out
Tin from same shed.
Free.
Bought the deck screws. Keep all sizes, love those things!
Bought tube of roof pitch to fill holes of used tin.

Size is 8’x16’ on the inside. Tin is 10’ long with a little overhang. Small, but it will help. Today is church and rain. I’m going to cut open 50# plastic dog food bags and staple to the pallets to block wind. I’ll do that Monday, it will be low of 26F with high of 43F and windy, but it will be sunny.

Good job. Looks sturdy. Is it on a high/dryer spot?

You bet’cha it’s on a high spot!

some inside bracing for the corners to help keep it from being collapsed by strong winds. any anchors into the ground? winds can create lift... putting all those bags on the sides means even more forces from winds.
It’s braces all the way around with the 1x6 boards tying them all together, laid on top, plus in the middle outside. I plan on T-posts to tie it to.

Not a single hoof print in it. 😃😃😃😃

I cut dog food bags open and put them on the pallet palace. They block wind real good. I used roofing tacks with the plastic circles, the kind that you nail down tar paper under the shingles.

The sheep ought to feel real protected with that dog pack surrounding them! They haven’t tried it out yet. I’ll be working on some king of fence tomorrow to make a big lot for them.
