Baymule's 3rd Lambing!

Baby Winter is beautiful. Many sheep are born and do just fine up here in the cold. A co-worker raises and shows sheep. So they are bred to give birth in JANUARY! Brrr. This time all the ewes are having twins and triplets!!! Then on Monday one had QUADRUPLETS .... so far she has not had to bring at inside or bottle feed.

Congratulations on the grand baby @Collector !!!! Grands are the greatest. The relationship between kids and grand parents is a special one and I know you will be one fantastic grandpa!

@Carol Dee I have never had to assist in a birth or bottle feed. I read on BYH how people stay up all night, have to reach in and turn babies around, and act as mid-wives to their goats and sheep. I don't want to do that, I am glad that my ewes have it all figured out and know what to do. They are hardy and low maintenance and I like it that way! I just wake up, go outside and find lambs. Better than Christmas morning!

We kept our grand daughters over the weekend. It was cold, but sunny and beautiful. We went outside to play. First stop was the Sheep lot. The 16 month old had been looking out the windows yelling BAA!BAA! She loves the Sheep.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the Sheep, I am unafraid because Mamaw is with me.....

Then they got to hold a Lamb and pet it.

The little one wanted back IN!

It just doesn’t get any better than this.
