According to the truck scales, freakin WOOOW!!! Wilbur weighed 820 pounds!! Having a hard time wrapping my brain around that! BJ says that’s right because Wilbur is huge. Still can’t believe it! Waiting on hanging weight to compare to 820 pounds!

@Lickbranchfarm We will pick him up October 11, neighborhood party on the 13th. Guess what we're bringing? Could it be...….pulled pork? :drool

We're having one ham sliced in 1 1/2" slabs to put on the pit.

I KNEW IT!!! That's really great! Congrats. How long till you get him back? DUH!!! You SAID 10/11....

62% hanging weight weight! Not sure what the difference in definition of hanging weight and dressed weight is, if any. That's a lot of sausage.

I know it depend on the sausage maker and what flavorings are used, but some of the best sausage I ever had was part pork and part deer. I remember one cook-out in the late 70's with a sausage 1/3 deer, 1/3 pork, and 1/3 beef. Man that was good but what would you expect when the sausage maker was full on Cajun? And the beer was free.
