Bell Peppers in flowering stage

I have 6 Bell Pepper plants 7 weeks old, 7" tall in flowering stage. Lots of flowers, main stems size of a pencil.
Two-three more weeks before transplant outside.
I have read keep flowers pinched off until two weeks after transplant.
The 2 week delay is to allow the plant to get over transplant shock and time for the roots to get established before expending energy into fruit production.
Would like to here other comments or suggestions from our members.

Remove the flower at the upper most crotch of the plant. I have read leaving that one reduces flowering. I always do it, I don't know its it really works. It probably got from Organic Gardening.

I try to do that with all flowers on peppers and tomatoes at transplanting.

It does help with early growth ..

. but, I often miss some flowers and appreciate the early fruit, forgiving myself .

Sounds like you're saying hold pinching off until transplant time?

I would not do that on all. I plant a lot of plants. How many tomatoes and peppers do really need. Though I still have a few bright colored peppers in the freezer.

I'm confused,
Need more detailed information.
Are you saying, yes pinch all flowers off, or not?
Or if pinching upper most crotch from main stalk or other branches also.
Have a lot of flowers coming from lots of side branches that's upper most crotch also.

Just the ones in the top crotch.

I pick off all flowers until the plants are a large size, I don't go by plant out date. Peppers that develop when the plants are too small will often stunt the plant and reduce how many peppers it will grow. The energy gets too diverted into growing the fruit instead of the plant. I started getting really nice harvests when I kept all flowers off until the plant was at least a foot tall and bushy. She recommends keeping flowers off for a month once transplanted.

I froze my bell pepper harvest, 2022. DD said it didn't taste as good after a year in the freezer. She also said that the dehydrated bell peppers didn't taste as good after a year in a canning jar.
BLECH!!!!
Good thing the jalepanoes I dehydrated several years ago Still pack their punch!
I took your (and everybody else's) advice and when DH wanted a new dehydrator I directed DD's to buy an Excalibur.
It now lives on the kitchen counter, next to the microwave...irony.

I see what your saying, miss cutting a few flowers and end up with early growth. It's really hard getting them all, so just concentrate on the larger flowers.
I'm getting lots of flowers about 200 a week Im cutting off. Plant not transplanted outside yet but am in hardening off stage. Guess I will do my tomatoes also.
