They are nice healthy plants :). A little stretched. Too many extremes, of course.

Days and days without the sun, then we had LOTS of sunlight and I don't have adequate cooling! Back there in Montana, you remember how perfect conditions were so easily had, right @marshallsmyth ?

No, I'm convinced of it - the other side of the mountain, other side of the fence ... hemisphere.

Well anyway, there was frost yesterday and it didn't touch them; winds and not a leaf was shaken; their soil has dried now and then without them wilting ... a slug killed one of their fellows in another flat, he won't do that again; I checked Toby and Henrietta for their temperature by 3am this morning, don't tell them but I will be out there with Amy Sue and the others to confirm before 5 ...

Ewww, I hate slugs! Yep, slugs make me say "eeeuuuwwww". So do snails.
