One of my passions in gardening is Datura/Brugmansias. Every year I look forward to the garden club's show so I can get some new colors/varieties. I have two that are tied for favorites: A Large Pink edged creamy white Brug that is a real show stopper and a Double purple Datura, smaller in growth but large blooms nonetheless. I have not reproduced them by cuttings before. How is that done? Must it be woody stems? do you root in water first or directly in soil-less mix? I live in Jacksonville and they almost always come back from the roots in the spring. I lost only one from our arctic winter this year.
