What a great offer!

I'm interested... in the peachy/white NOID one, if possible.

Thanks!

Awesome! Thanks so much!

I can put it in the ground, but I would prefer to put it in a big pretty pot on my front porch. My porch is covered, and gets afternoon sun. I have a timed irrigation system, so water would be consistent and regular. What do you think?

Also... do you know of a good online tutorial or other resource re pruning brugs? I'd like to be able to shape it and keep it smallish. How big a pot should I be looking at if I wanted to keep it topped out around 6' or 7' tall? It'll produce blooms at that size, eh?

Thanks again! :D

Joz, a large pot sounds great. 24 inch diameter is good, but remember, to really 'let 'er rip,' every year or so will need to repot. Brugs are famous for eating all the soil and nutrients in it, and quickly. Remember, it's solanaceae, same as tomato, pepper, etc...heavy feeders ;)
I've never seen a tutorial on pruning, but it's easy. Brugs like to vegetate (a lot) from the main trunk. I like mine to tree-form, so I am constantly picking these new leaf sets off of the trunk, forcing the plant up and towards it's first set of Y stem (these are the ones that flower) Yes, 7 feet tall will flower.
Just remember to never prune off your 'Y' stems, or you'll never see a flower. All of mine make these either right at ground level, or within 3 feet of trunk growth. Of course, if your'e going to overwinter and need to prune to ground level, you can, just stop feeding and keep only very slightly moist during winter. It will re-grow in spring when frosts are over, you bring back into light, and start feeding it again.

:bow You are a saint among gardeners, MB! :D

I'd like to be added to your list. I've been growing "devil's trumpets" (datura) and I'd love to give brugs a try. I'd probably have to pot it though, as I doubt they'd like my red clay soil. Thanks for the offer, that is very kind of you!

You're welcome guys and girls. I'll start them up. I know I promised this morning, but I spent it re-rinsing them from spray yesterday and then foliar feeding. Too hot now, but I promise to take and start tomorrow.

Wow... I took on too many planting projects this year, or I would jump right on it. But we're already planning on doing grape cuttings again and a fig rooting so my pots are all going to be filled.

Forcing me once again to HAVE to buy more pots! LOL (Hubby is going to kill me!)

This is extremely sweet of you! Everyone getting a cutting should start a thread about it so everyone can share the travels and success of each plant in each state! :D

I'd really enjoy that Vfem. I always send photos of my plants (given through trades) to their respective owners. Especially after they flower or fruit, so I can show them the bloom. This very year, I have a clerodendrum 'tree' that I think will finally flower. I'm dying to send the giver a photo, she's waited 3 years to see it :)
