I forgot about the candy dots on paper! There was a cute little downtown shop in CA that sold those. Oh, and I do remember the Jolly Rancher thin bars that were like 4 inches long by 2 inches wide and my favorite was cinnamon!Sorry @Dahlia ,DD's would wax nostalic about MOST of those candies. I am OLDER.SCHOOL.--

Almost an addiction … I also was given horehound candy once while trick-or-treating and finally found them as a teenager when shopping by myself could include a candy store.

Oh how could I forget Pez and those so cute candy dispensers!!!Candy from the past is priceless. A nickel, dime, and penny candy. On Amazon a pack of 24 I cup o’ gold - $32.99.
That is $1.33 each. Yikes and I bet they are smaller too. Called Shrinkflation..Even loaves of bread are half a loaf and twice the price - Shrinkflation.
