I had this feeling they'd cross real good!

Those are F1 crosses, correct?

I believe if you cross 2 unrelated F1 EExSilkie, you will get a wild assortment, maybe including EE body type with Silkie feather type.

Thank you!, They are my first "litter" The daddy is the white one in the picture under my hand holding Salsa. The hen (no Name yet) is going to be my problem child, she likes to fly over the fence to hang around my garden . I am working on it to keep her away !! Lori

Desertlady, those are silkies I could deal with. They have feathers! It's the ones that are all 'hairy' with no faces that mess with me. I keep expecting one to turn around and look like this:
