Here you go @ducks4you
I NEVER make brownies from a box. This recipe is the best I’ve ever found.

breakfast was blueberries as i was sorting through them so Mom can make her pies later. she already has the filling done so the blueberries get mixed into that (they are fresh blueberry pies so the berries never get cooked - it's all cold). i sorted through six packages and was happy that most of them were in good condition. it was odd though that the first four containers had a lot of stems still on and then the last two packages had maybe one stem per package. oh well, of course i ate some as i was going along. :)

@flowerbug Please tell your Mom that her HOMEMADE FRESH Blueberry pies are the best!!!!

i do! and they are! :) the strawberry ones are also very good especially if i can get some strawberries from the gardens. we'll give the pies away to some friends but we always have some leftover filling that we eat without the graham cracker crusts.

while i am a very committed chocoholic i also really like ice-creams with nuts in them and so can pass on chocolate and i also like things with vanilla and custards like tapioca pudding or rice pudding. pretty much any carbohydrate i'm up for... the thing with me this past few years is that i've gotten pickier about what chocolates i'll even bother with. last week we had some leftover Hershey's Kisses from some Valentine's Day candy and i decided to eat them. um, nope, i won't be doing that again. just not acceptable to me in that form any more. sure they can be used in other things for recipes or whatever, but not for eating out of hand.
I am really picky about the chocolate I eat also. Only dark chocolate and a small amount. It has to be high quality or I just pass it up.

Everything is by the coffee pot so brew a cup then let's on patio and enjoy the crisp morning temp of 60 before it gets up to 80+this afternoon.
The sheet pan Choc chip cookies had regular Milk Chocolate chips and WHITE Chocolate chips in it. I think I'm going to make it AGAIN for the next BBQ we're having on Sept 3rd.

Mom took a pass on putting the pies together and making deliveries yesterday so she's going to do it today instead. the fridge is full of stuff the should be gone. pumpkin cakes with cream cheese frosting, boston brown bread and then the blueberry pies. all gone except for a few ends of the bread (which i like no matter what).
