DW liked to hang sheets & blankets on the clothes lines to dry. She said it made them smell like sunshine. When we lived in town, with a 1/4 acre lot, somebody had put in a 4 line clothesline and I used it ALL OF THE TIME!

I agree! I love the smell of clothes that dried with the help of a fresh breeze!DW liked to hang sheets & blankets on the clothes lines to dry. She said it made them smell like sunshine.![]()
Same here.I always hang my clothes on a line to dry as the dryer ruins fabric.
I've never heard of Jujube. I'll have to look this up. That reads as a nice tea. I like gingerInstant... non-caffeinated... herbal tea. Mind blown.A good late-night drink (drinking decaf coffee somehow feels like sacrilege).

My clothesline is on my front porch. It’s covered, so I ran wire from post supports. It works for me and no wire out in the yard to duck under.I have lots of room, but still can't figure out where to put a new clothes line. The one that was here had posts that rotted out, but the location was terrible, back of the house, under trees, bird droppings on your clothes all of the time!!

I do my drying in my living room. Yes, I know unsightly but I know it's clean and fresh and I rarely have visitors. My clothesline is on my front porch. It’s covered, so I ran wire from post supports. It works for me and no wire out in the yard to duck under.

Other Weeds? I miss having the pigweed and lambs quarters showing up, as they cheerfully did in other gardens over the years. Miss them but not quite enough to grow them intentionally here at home.
