my first day back..grrrrr only spent 4000.00 on 1 machine ....but again the people who built it know how to build it..... it's a wheel shot blaster last time i needed to rebuild it was over a year ago so we got our money out of it....

it's the only piece of equipment that when you hit the start button it eats itself a live.....
parts will be here monday so in the meantime having gilligan doing all the dirty work, for not saying anything.......

i love payback moments......
hehehehehehbaawaheee sneaker sneaker hahahaha ..little evil happy dance........... should have listened to me.....hehehehehehe

down at work we have two compressors quincy i-1000 and a i-500, our bumper to bumper agree was ended august 18th, called quincy august 12th about the i-500 shutting down, turned out the enamel was flaking off and plugging up a valve....

all the parts came in last week the compressor person came out wednesday to tear down it down<it was a upgrade> took a day longer than expected, should have been fixed yesterday....they sent a bad thermocouple.

so in the mean time we been running on the i-1000 our back-up it only puts out 125psi, it really hurts us when we are using it.the i-500 puts out 140psi..

yesterday at 4:30 got a call the 1000 keeps shutting down... asked what the display screen said....."compressor shutdown possible reverse rotation", knew right off the bat what the problem was...asked gilligan if he sees orange pieces on the floor between the motor and the airend...yes

the coupler collar tore apart<which it is suppose to do in case either motor or airend locks up>...

okay heres where the evil happy dance comes in..

in the past i have always kept a spare collar on hand... we used the spare and asked the g/m if it was okay to purchase another.... hell no thats a luxury not a need why would i get something that might sit on a shelf for years, we have the other compressor....

well yesterday was the perfect storm that came back and bit her in her ass over being a penny pincher... both compressors down... lost 3/4 days production today..

the owner called last night we talked, okay he talked i listened told him why we did not have a spare collar...

i want you purchase a spare collar for both machines, i dont care what she tells you... do it.. i want you to go thought the plant and compile a list of spare parts you think we need plus i want you to tell what needs to replaced that she has said no too and the two of us will look it over......yes sir.....

happy dance........bawaahawwaaa heheehehehe

i'm having a great friday off....yes i am off she did not want to pay me overtime....

hehehehehehe come back and bit her again, when i came in monday g/m told not to order the collars till the first of the month per the owner, okay..

this morning the collar on the i-500 ripped apart..<the one that was upgraded> called quincy in charlotte with the part number, yup we have one..
went and looked at the drivers route sheet...great we have a driver going in the general area, called the g/m at our charlotte location he would be glad to pick up the part. called the driver he was at his last stop, asked if he would drive to charlotte store and relay it to me...a little crying but he would do it....

when my g/m showed up told her what was wrong and what i did,,,she looked at me and said, who told you to do all this... i took it upon myself because i know how you would have wanted to handle this,no shipping ,no service tech to install it and charge us a arm and a leg, it will be here in about an hour and we will be running on the good compressor about 30 mins....

could see her mind looking for a reason to chew me out.. all that she could say.... okay with a little grrr

so fast forward to this afternoon, the owner and g/m were in the back conference room when i dropped off the invoice. the owner asked how i was doing on the lights told him that was unable to install any....why

explained that that collar ripped among the rest of the days problems, he looked at me and said.. didnt i ask for you to order collars for both machines monday?
yes sir you did, but monday once she got in was told not to order them till the first per you...

oh once that was said a very very unhappy look came across his face with a 1000 yd stare at her ...i was asked to leave.. all i could hear on the way out was.
im not going to order parts the last week of the month that could sit on a shelf..... would have loved to hear the rest...

she called me on the way home and was told to order spares in the morning and put those f'ing parts on the shelf and hung up.....

someone mention i need to watch my back around her....i do my job i will not lie for anyone, if she wants to be a witch go ahead i keep a maintenance log/journal with times and dates of what i do on a sd chip here at home..
