Cool rare black carrot seeds

I have seen Black flowered queen ann's lace. I wonder what they taste like?

if you can find these on the market. i got them 2 years ago but somehow misplaced my container with carrot seeds. i had bought from Johnny's Seeds their Black Knight Carrot. it flowers are purple but have a tendency to bolt their 1st year. it was the last year Johnny's was carrying them because of the bolting issue.

oh! i guess i didn't loose them. i just misplaced the container. just found the packet and there was 100 seeds sent.

the other i got from Johnny's that same year is called Deep Purple. i have yet to get these growing since i thought i lost the seeds this past year.

do we know if there is a gene in the carrots that will cause it to stripe on the outside?
