Heat I can handle, or at least used to work through the day in it when I lived in a desert place.
It's being hosed down with hot sweat when you step out the door that I can't take. Texas should issue Shamwows at the border.

back to CL topic...

yesterday morning i posted free stuff ad on CL and had several replies within 5 minutes. 1st person came by today and picked up stuff. all gone. Mom happy. didn't have to wait until after mid-april when the computer/electronic recycler opened up and even better some of those items may get more use out of them instead of being ground up for the metals in there.

and also nice to have more space back in my room... half a closet's worth is nice for such a pack rat as me... :) i could probably get rid of another half a closet if i would part with my bean sorting boxes, but then i'd have to get them back by the end of summer so it seems a shame to do that. also, yesterday at the store, running errands i found a really nice flat box to use for sorting even more. so that's now stashed in the closet too waiting for bean sorting season to come around again.

next project is to get the desk cleaned up and then after that the bottle collection project. which ends up meaning even more cleaning... it's good for me to do something these days. too easy to nap and read and frog around and ...
