My friend Sue does same thing on side. A lot of her stuff she picks up on trash day. She does a paint job, then consigns them in a shop that specializes in shabby chic. On a good month it can pay her rent.

She has been doing it for years now. Of course some months, she may not have even 1 sale.

My local stop and shop supermarket has a bulb display every spring and fall. The bulb packages start at 3 for $10, as season goes by they get marked down. I always wait till they are $1 a package. Last night they where marked down to 2 for $1 at that price I loaded my cart. I had given up on tulips because of deer, I planted a few packages last year which survived the deer. At 50 cents I am trying again.

got my 13 year old Jeep off Crlist. Now the hubby is getting a step for me to get into the dang thing. Also a new console for the one that is in there is not big enough for me when I deliver eggs. I use my sale book, change pouch, pen, and a few more things. First time I went out I lost things under the seat....Crlist keeps my boy very busy......

For 13 years old seems in good shape. I am restoring a 1955 pick up doing same colors bright yellow with black fenders.
