Well I have one really good, strong seedling. It's about 1-1.5 inches tall. The leaves have separated from each other. I have realized that the container I have it growing in is too shallow so I will be moving it to a bigger pot. When should I move it outside? Today we have a high of 66 and tonight a low of 46. We will be getting rain tomorrow. Should I replant it in a deeper pot and go ahead and stick it outside, then bring it inside for the night?
I have 2 cuke plants with their first set of true leaves. HUGE already! I'm planning on building a trellis for them soon, but they aren't going out until I finish harvesting my spinach (About 1 week left on the last bit I have out there.)

Now, you are the zone before me... and cukes like it WARM WARM WARM out. They are super sensitive to cold.

Don't put them outside to harden off until the have their true leaves, and I would still wait until after April 15th. Mine aren't supposed to be planted until after April 15th in zone 7... and that isn't a guarentee!!!!

So please wait 2 more weeks or you may lose them. :/

Well I did end put putting the seedling outside and its doing well so far. One leaf had started to curl because it needed to be watered, but it rained so it got a nice drink. I planted some of my corn sprouts and my carrot sprouts and today I looked and two corn sprouts broke the surface and so did one carrot sprout.

I'm going to plant more cucumbers. I'm hoping to have several good plants but we shall see. I will try and take a picture of the one seedling I have right now.

I wish you luck. Got my fingers crossed. :fl I'm so nervous as I've already lost all my tomatoes. I even did the milk jug over them and plastic around their cages and they died anyways :(

Then some stupid cat dug up my onions to go poo right on them! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I haven't had the best of luck lately.

We're getting ready to zip tie some of the welded metal fencing 3 ft high around the base of our fence to keep out cats, rabbits and my chickens! My big fence only handles deer and stray dogs. (and my evil digging dog!)

I only manages to get 2 of my cukes to sprout out of 4, so I don't want to take chances.

Yea, I'm really nervous since last year I lost everything! Everything died and I got nothing out of my garden. This year I have easier access to it and there are fewer bees which means I can go out every day to check on my plants.

So far my plants are doing well outside. I'm not taking them outside if it gets below 55. Right now its about 60 and we have a high of 67. I can't wait till this weekend. The plants are going outside all day then. Its going to be in the 70s and sunny!
