YUMMY
We are eating a lot more fresh this time of year. I have not bought canned anything for weeks. Wish I had some place for a cow, pig and chicks! Then we would be set.
uhh, What a CRASH hot potatoes?
Crash hot potatoes I don't bake mine, but rather fry them in a deep cast iron skillet. I also add a piece of bacon on top or sometimes some shredded cheese. They really lend themselves to improvisation.
Just added this site to my favs!!! How is it that it NEVER crosses my mind to look on the web for sites that are related to my favorite shows???? Just dense like that I guess.
Those look wonderful - guess what's for dinner tonight!

That Crash Hot Potatoes recipe looks really good. I bet they would lend themselves really well to all sorts of variations in seasonings. One could serve them every day and never have the same thing twice! And I could do enough for two people in my toaster oven, on these hot summer days. Thanks, MontyJ!

You must be up around the Ashtabula area, Tony. Most people don't know that Ohio actually has a pretty good wine producing area. Pretty covered bridges up that way too ;)

ETA: Tony, I tried to look you up here. Many members have pinned their location on the map that Journey started. You don't have to pin your exact location, just drop a pin in the general area. It's pretty neat to see where everyone is.

CRASH hot potatoes! Thanks for the recipe! Can't wait to fix 'em! :drool

(Texan note)--FIX 'em does not refer to something that is broken and will be repaired. Rather, it refers to DOING something, as in, "Ah'mm FIXIN' to go to town, need anything?" Dropping the "G" on an ING ending is acceptable as perfect Texan grammar as well. ;)
