canesister, Mr. Cougan looks so much like my sweet boy. Fido has been gone 5 years and I still miss him dearly.

My two favorite garden helpers. Not that they help very often. But they sure love to EAT it. :)

You know,

my garden companion pales by comparison to some of these others! I better not ask if they can sing . . .

Harry Potter had his Hedwig, the owl. Maybe I should give him an impressive name like "Vulcan, the Song Sparrow!" Huh?

This is our old man Bulldog. No you are not confused. He is a black lab. His name is actually Bull. But over the years, it transitioned into Bulldog. He doesn't care, but it is funny to see the expression on peoples faces when they ask his name and you tell them.

No matter where you go including gardening. He is right there. He used to "get in" the garden with me and "try to help". But now that he is an old man, he is just happy standing there watching or lying in a shady spot.

If I had a garden companion it would probably be Nutmeg. That chicken follows me every where in the run. Cinnamon is my lovey in the run, when she's not up-set with me....like now :/ ....so Im not getting my daily visit from her at the moment. :( Our dog sadie is a clutz and would trample everything in the garden. :/
