I went to a class Monday night on fruit trees. One of the things I learned was that I had to thin my peaches. I took tons of them off and it hurt to pull each one! The picture if after I thinned out the fruit.

Looks like a good start. Looks like you may be a full month ahead of me, maybe more with that squash.

Last year I took several gallons of peaches and apples off my trees. There were still plenty left. It really does help with size.

Where was the class? Who taught it?

There is an alameda gardening group whose purpose is to grow food to donate to our food bank. Monthly classes are free but only an hour long. Too short and not much time for questions. This class was taught by 2 women that are Master Gardeners. I've volunteer to pick fruit and other things. Hoping to get to know some of these people and see their gardens. One of the women has all of her fruit trees espalier on 3 sides of her fence. The other side has her citrus trees that are kept in a hedge.
