@Marie2020 sometimes dreams are just your brain playing around with all that happened recently, trying to connect things that might be important to you even if you may not consciously think they are. in this case i would guess that you had time and computers on your mind recently and perhaps had been watching the news to put a bit of political spice on it. :)
Hmm 😒 I really have to ponder on this. To be honest I'm at a loss
I really lost all interest in politics a long time ago.
I hope I don't offend anyone but I believe in politics today as much I believe in Peter Pan and Tinker Bell

this morning when i woke up i had to be really sure that i woke up and wasn't still dreaming since the dream i woke up from had a bit towards the end where i was sleeping and then woke up just in time as people were leaving that i was supposedly supposed to talk to. so i went outside to tell them goodbye and that i was sorry i hadn't had a chance to talk to them, but they were all grumpy and people i didn't want to talk to anyways so i just started walking back to the house (the house i lived in 50 years ago) and then i woke up. glad to say i was here and today was today and things are ok. :)

years ago i had a dream that was nested three deep and so i had to wake up, and each time i was sure i had to wake up again until i finally got out of it. the thing that was different about that series of dreams was that i was waking up in the same bed and place as where i was actually sleeping, except there were things like big cracks in the walls and the walls were painted institutional green (which they weren't when i finally did wake up :) glad to say because i hate that color)...

Recently, my dreams have been very vivid; scent, touch, bright colors. The craziest thing is that I can sometimes read in my dreams. In one, I was at a concert, and someone was asking me about upcoming acts; I had to read from my program to answer. In other dreams, I am reading the news, or reading a book. The strangest thing is that sometimes in my dream, I'm surprised at what I read.

It reminds me of when I took a creative writing class many years ago, and they used some kind of guided meditation exercise as the inspiration. Something about climbing a mountain; what you are seeking, who is with you & who do you meet, what questions do you ask them, what do they tell you, etc. It was a profound experience, not only for what I wrote (which has since been lost :() but for what it taught me about myself. I think some dreams are like that, thoughts turned inward unfiltered by the conscious mind, trying to rethink & reinterpret the events of the day.

The mind can be very creative in dreams too. I used to keep a pad of paper next to my bed, to write down inspiring dreams before they faded... a couple good short stories & poems started that way. That habit had to stop when I was in the military, and that pad (and all the compositions in it) was confiscated & disposed of during an inspection. :(

Can't remember if I mentioned it earlier in this thread, but I had a dream a year or two ago, where I was a singer in a competition (something like American Idol). I was performing a song I had written. When I awoke, the song was still so vivid that I was humming the tune, and I quickly wrote down the first verse (and wrote two more verses soon after I got up). The song is about a bad 'ex', which is weird because I never had one. :idunno

I've had 6 really disturbed nights of sleep.
But in saying the above I'm getting better sleep now even though it broken up.

There has been many dreams this past couple of nights but darned if I can remember any of them except waking up 3 nights ago too my son (who lives hundreds of miles away) saying, "Mum you have bitten of more than you can chew".

Getting the prices of neutering this morning I have to agree with that suggestion. But I wouldn't change anything because it is all worth it. ♥️
