Here are all of the tomatoes that ripened in the last 10 days, then the leftovers, then cooling in the sink after boiling to get the skins off. I use my 2 colanders. They are heating up now so that I can can them this afternoon.

This is from 2 days ago...then, today, with New tomatoes ripening for the next canning, and many more on the kitchen table blushing. The pile gets smaller, and I throw out any damaged fruits for "lawn fertilizer." You can see one small tomato on the bottom left of the last photo.

I have 66 quarts of tomatoes already put up. I expect maybe 10 more quarts, so we WILL experiment with some of the jars. DD was asking for pints and I found a dozen 2022 tomatoes in pints for her to go through, plus a few more downstairs in the pantry,
I LOVED the volunteer all yellow sunflower, but I think I brought in the flower before it could make seeds, so I just ordered a package of them for next year from St Clare Heirloom Seeds. Anybody ever buy from them?

I'm kinda blown away by how great this seed company is. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. Just on the homepage there is a ton of great info. Do you know where they're located?

Interesting little search for location ... the website says that it is an "online" company and provide a mailing address in southern Michigan.

Their blog mentions that the writer is in northern Wisconsin and the National Gardening Association notes their location near Green Bay.

It makes me wonder if it would be either @Zeedman or @flowerbug who would consider them neighbors.

Steve, edit: and there's FlowerBug posting ⬆️

it says home business so i'm assuming the Bedford MI area is correct. the blog writer may not be them, but i do not know the details. pehaps they have helpers who do things for them in other parts of the country... dunno...
