My mom told me my brother called her and wanted to know if we wanted to come over this weekend and catch fish in his pond. It's not a huge pond and the fish are boiling over. So I'm going to put my worms to good use and hopefully catch brem and catfish. While I'm there I'm going to tip toe through his pasture for cow pies for my compost! Fresh fish and cow pies! :weee

Only a true gardener would get excited over collecting cow patties to bring home.

I believe you have arrived.

Dave - ur so lucky your a man. I tried to have a bucket of pee so I could add it too my garden but DH found it and said no. :/ I was totally going to empty it out every day. He just is not as concerned about soil fertility as me.

That is hilarious! I bet if you stuck some walls around that bucket and called it an outhouse, he wouldnt have complained! Some people just have no imagination.

Well, it was great fun yesterday catching fish and collecting cow pies! We kept 45 fish, all white perch and only one bass that I caught. Big brother has those fish trained. He feeds them every evening at 5. The water literally boils with fish!

I also came home with cow poop, and I didn't have to tip toe through the pasture either. He had a big pile that was already composted so it's going directly into the garden. My SIL wants us to come back next weekend - I just might!
