Not sure what I did, but now my fit bit is emailing me weekly reports. One of most shocking is I am averaging 1 1/2 hours sleep a night. I knew it was bad but didn't realize how little sleep I get. I am running my life off 10 and half hours a WEEK. :thDuring the day sitting at my desk I can close my eyes and fall asleep in under 3 mins, at night in my bed takes most of night to fall a sleep.

That is NOT good. Have you been checked for sleep apnea?

Right off the bat I'd suggest changing something in your bedroom .. is it dark? REALLY dark? Any noise? At All? Some say that having anything electronic in the bedroom disrupts sleep - something about em waves or some such stuff. Some swear that they can't sleep at all w/o a fan running...
With 2 dogs and 3 cats sharing my bedroom a low, steady level of noise is vital to even out the snoring, farting, twitching, grooming..... My diffuser provides that along with a scent that is just for sleeping. I used to leave the TV on for that low level of noise but discovered (through my fit bit) that I was doing GREAT if I hit 4hrs total of sleep. No artificial light allowed anymore. It's darker and quieter and I often hit 6hrs! OR at least come close to it.

Also, maybe check your settings and see if it's set to your dominant hand and max sensitivity? I know a lady who takes the 'bit' out and puts it in a little cloth tube that she wears on her ankle when she sleeps.

Yes I have it and 3 other sleeping disorders.I have a Dr just for my sleeping.
UGH... sorry. I found I must be sleeping better with the CPAP. Not tired during the day. Even if I wake during the night I tend to be able to get back to sleep quicker. (Most nights.) Might need to have something adjusted? Good Luck.

My friend is using medicinal maryjuana. Said it works like a charm. If I were as bad as you I would give it a try. Do you have sleep apnea? My husband has used the mask for years-great sleeping and NO SNORING! Your problem seems worse than anyone I have ever heard of. Every think of quitting the cigarettes?

Please go back to Dr. and let them know the mask gives you panic attacks. They may have another style that will work for you. Mine only has nasal pillows, not restrictive at all. Sleep apnea can be very bad for your health if left untreated. :hugs
