I agree Alex. Sexist, and totally inappropriate in todays world. And if you look back, only two women in this thread said they hand it to a male. :hide

That's just silly. Men are stronger than women, what's sexist about that?
I hand it to a male yes, he's also my husband. We enjoy helping each other.

There may be certain individual women stronger than certain individual men, but the strongest woman in the world will never be stronger than the strongest male. It's the way our bodies are designed. I don't see what the problem is.

I was speaking in generalities. It's not an inferiority issue which it seems to be made out as these days.

Where are all the protests at the commercials that make men look stupid or inept until a woman swoops in to help? That's just as ridiculous.

My wife hands them to me too. That's not the point. In today's world that ad would cause a national uproar, social media would go crazy, the story would probably be on the network nightly news. It would be a public relations disaster. The company would be boycotted, stock prices plunge, and some people would lose their jobs for being insensitive. You can say your product is easy-opening, but don't imply a woman needs a man or is helpless.

I understand that. We've swung over to the other extreme. So it's sexist in todays hysteria, but not in reality.
I'm not really trying to make a big deal about it. :)

I always handed the tools to Spouse. I knew I could have done the job, but he could do it faster and with less effort. We were a team that worked well together. I bought the JD tractor because I still need the work done. Hoping to make it a great team as well.
