Kid#1 always asks for them for Christmas. The expensive wool snowboarding ones...
One year I went all out and bought him 3 pair (at between $15 and $25 per pair I was not being a cheapskate). In those days he had to do his laundry at a laundromat. He put his clothes in the dryer and left to do some errands. When he got back his new socks and new thermal long johns were missing. The attendant said he didn't notice anybody getting in his dryer. Yeah right, I'm sure he didn't. I bet that guy has a really nice wardrobe of spendy wool socks and thermals at home.

LOL, DH got t-shirts, socks and undies!!!! (Simply because he would not give me a wish list other than a gift card.) He knows I NEED to buy and wrap SOMETHING then a gift card. :p

That's pretty low, stealing someone's sock and underwear!

I know. I felt so bad for him too because that's the year he rented a room from a couple who lived in the house only one week per month and there was no heat. When the couple came home they turned on the oven and left the door open. So he lived in his down coat and long johns and wool socks 24/7. He also worked outside on the ski mountain where there was no escape from the frigid temps.

Found this lying on the table this morning. The girls were playing pretend with their dolls last night and it seems they have sensed my Christmas hang-over...

Good thing giving away your children is not that easy or we'd all be calling them!

That's so cute Journey. Definitely one for the archives.
