Richard, I had a really hard time answering mine when I first got it. I found that I could change the way it is answered, in "settings", I think. Now I just press the "home" button to answer it.

That's how I've set up mine and dh's.
I showed him, but he didn't receive any calls for a day or so and forgot, then he was telling me his phone didn't work, he couldn't answer the stoopid thing! He kept tapping the phone icon harder and harder. He was upset because he had been expecting a call about work and when it came he couldn't connect. Got that sorted and calmness prevailed once again. But whew!

The "swipe" has become a common control for touch screens.

Swiping on some apps takes me to unexpected places. Luckily, I can reverse the swipe and go back where I came from.

Moving some online maps require two fingers. I'm completely unsure how a touch screen knows whether it has 1 or 2 digitS' on it o_O.

Just before 2000, I buried some of my precious stone collection as protection from possible Millenium Bug collapse. I didn't find them again until they actually ERODED out of the ground. And even now there are some bits that are still buried (I think there is a bloodstone egg buried under one of the slates of the path on the side, but can't remember which)
