we get a weekly free local paper dropped at the end of the driveway. i just went out to pick it up. a lot of people don't even bother picking them up so if it really got bad i suppose i could go up and down the road and clean up their mess and get me some free emergency TP. i've been stocking up these papers since last fall when the ground got too hard to bury things. so by chance/accident we have a good emergency supply that will last us quite a while, but for sure i'll be scouting for mullein and comfrey plants... those are like the cadellac of the natural TP plants.

oh! thank you for reminding me! i have several buckets packed full of shredded paper! the worms haven't gotten around to digesting them yet.

I was out jogging one day and ahead of me, I saw a little old lady walking her dog. Suddenly a young guy in a hoodie ran up to her and grabbed her purse and ran off. She just glanced back at him calmly and kept walking. When I met up with her I asked her, didn't she realize that guy had stolen her purse? She said "Oh, I keep my money in my new purse, at home. That old one, I just bring with me to clean up after the dog does his business." That guy is going to get a surprise.
