I think it's a perfectly good excuse for a senior adult.

that only works if they remember what you said the previous 20 times. i'd like to think this is funny, and it is, but with some people i know it's not only funny, but painfully so...

all i know is that patience is a virtue and i practice it as much as i can. i know my time may come in the future where i do similar things, so i try to hope i will be as fortunate.
